As a person
new to Web design, I found the tools easy to learn,
logically designed, and very helpful in my first-time
Web site design effort! The beginner will be helped in a
step-by-step manner, and those who have had experience
with Web design and implementation are allowed to be as
creative as they want to be. My hat's off to [the
Post-Dispatch]! Rev. Dr. Martin Rafanan,
executive director, National Conference for Community
and Justice, St. Louis Region
The Community Web Site
system and staff offers continuous feedback and support
to Web novices, assisting them in getting their site up
with minimal struggle, and allowing them to get back to
what's really important -- serving the
community. Dan Tierney, deputy director,
St. Louis Regional Arts Commission
We have been using the
tools to organize a performance calendar and rehearsal
schedule for (our) dancers. The calendar tools which
link our performance dates to other community calendars
has given the ballet additional exposure throughout the
area. The email that is sent to all participants [the
"automated newsletter"] allows the dancers to see
changes to the schedule before they come to the studio.
This Web site has quickly become an integral source of
information for Alexandra Ballet and its
members. Amy Scheers, administrative
manager, Alexandra Ballet
I'm now an administrator
on 1 percent of the sites (8 out of 800) though there
are one or two where others will actually be doing the
work. If you haven't figured it out by now, I think the
communities sites are the greatest thing since sliced
bread. For me to be able to help organizations I care
about for no cost to them or me is a great gift. I'll
try to get Number 9 before you reach 900. Thanks to you
and to [the Post-Dispatch]! Peggy Kruse,
volunteer webmaster, Faith Leaders Response to Racism,
Old Jamestown Association and half a dozen other
